St John the Evangelist Catholic Academy in Kidsgrove is seeking a dedicated Lunchtime Supervisor for a permanent, term-time role. The position covers 11:30–12:45, Monday to Friday, during school days, and involves supervising children aged 5–11 with a focus on safety and inclusive play.
The successful candidate will join a caring team, contribute to a positive school environment, and support the Catholic ethos of the academy. Training and development opportunities are available.

St John’s is part of St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Multi Academy Trust . We are seeking to appoint a hardworking and committed Lunchtime Supervisor to join our enthusiastic team.
St John’s Catholic Academy is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people and expects all its employees to share this commitment. This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Amendment Order 1986 and, as such, it will be necessary for a Submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE), an online search will be carried out for all shortlisted candidates as part of our due diligence on their suitability to work with children. This search will only include information that is publicly available online, including social media where relevant, and will be conducted solely to identify any incidents or issues that are publicly available and may be explored with the candidate at interview.
