Job summary

St Margaret Clitherow’s Catholic Primary School is looking to recruit a Lunchtime Supervisor to join our current team in securing the safety and welfare of children during lunchtime. The successful candidate will be responsible for the care and well-being of pupils, organising suitable play activities and developing good personal and social skills, including supporting pupils with additional needs.

Previous experience is not required, but you must be a good role model, reliable and committed,

Responsibilities

• Care and well-being of pupils during lunchtime.
• Organise suitable play activities and develop social skills.
• Monitor behaviour and pupil safety.
• Lead playground games and encourage social interaction.
• Communicate sensitively with pupils and staff, including those with additional needs.

Salary:£24,796 pro rata (actual salary £2,820)

Hours:5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only

3. Monitor the behaviour of pupils and to have the highest regard for pupil safety and well-being
4. Have high expectations of pupil behaviour
5. Be able to communicate sensitively
6. Encourage and assist pupils to eat their lunch, providing special attention for those with additional needs, including dietary requirements
7. Lead on playground games and activities, encouraging socialising and play.
