Job summary

St Andrews Church Junior School is seeking a friendly Lunchtime Supervisor to supervise and engage with children during playtime, promote healthy eating, and support positive behaviour. The role operates 5 hours per week during term-time and is fixed term until 31 August 2027, funded externally.

We are looking for a friendly, empathetic and caring Lunchtime Supervisor for our small primary school. The role will include supervising and engaging with the children during playtime, monitoring and encouraging good eating habits, rewarding good behaviour and social skills and building relationships. As part of this role, you will:

You will be someone who:

• Ability to work flexibly within a team and motivate students.
• Good interpersonal skills with both adults and children.
• Understanding of the developmental needs of children.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• First Aid qualification desirable but not essential.
• Experience of working with children desirable but not essential.
