Job summary

Robin Hood MAT is seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor to support pupils during lunch and playtimes. The role covers dining room supervision, playground presence, and classroom oversight to ensure safety and wellbeing.

You will be expected to be reliable, compassionate and a good role model, with readiness to undertake paediatric first aid training and a willingness to work term-time only across 6 ¼ hours weekly.

Qualifications

• 6 ¼ hours per week, term-time only.
• Willing to undertake paediatric first aid training.
• Previous experience of working with children is an advantage.
• Ability to communicate confidently in English with parents and pupils.
• Reliable and committed to safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Lead play activities and supervise children during lunchtimes.

Contract Type: Permanent, Term-Time Only

Grade 2 Point 4 - 9

Salary £25,185 - £27,254 per annum (pro rata)

This is the Robin Hood MAT Pay Grade

References will be required for the short-listed applicants. Successful applicants will need to provide evidence of their identity and Right to Work in the UK, and will need to complete an enhanced DBS check.

Required for 6 ¼ hours per week, term time only. We are looking for Caring and Observant Supervisors to join our team. You will be responsible for leading play activities, the health and welfare of our children, supervising children in the dining room, playground and / or classroom.

You will need to be reliable, committed and interested in working with children and demonstrate the qualities of a good role model. You will need to be willing to undertake paediatric first aid training. Previous experience of working with children would be an advantage.

An ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence through the medium of English’ or ‘The ability to converse at ease with parents/pupils and members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post
