Job summary

Winner Education is seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor for a primary school in the Yardley Wood area of Birmingham. This part-time, weekday role runs during lunchtimes on a long-term temporary basis starting as soon as possible.

You will support children aged 3–11, help maintain safety and positive behavior in the dining hall, and supervise play indoors and outdoors, ensuring a pleasant lunchtime experience for all pupils.

Qualifications

• Caring, polite and friendly demeanor is expected.
• Experience as a lunchtime supervisor or similar role preferred.
• Good communication with staff, pupils and parents is important.
• Reliable and professional approach to duties.

Responsibilities

• Support children aged 3–11 during lunchtime.
• Ensure the safety of all pupils during lunch breaks.
• Assist pupils in the dining hall to maintain positive behavior.
• Create a positive lunchtime experience for pupils.

Winner Education are seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor on behalf of a primary school based in the Yardley Wood area. This is a part time role, Monday to Friday on a long-term, on-going temporary basis starting in as soon as possible.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support children between the ages of 3-11 years old
• Ensure the safety of all pupils during the lunchtime break
• Assist pupils during the school dining hall in ensuring behaviour is maintained
• Ensure children have a positive lunchtime experience
• Supervise indoor and outdoor play during lunchtime breaks
• Tidy away school dining table and chairs as well as outdoor and indoor play equipment

The successful Lunchtime Supervisor will:

• Be a caring, polite and friendly person
• Have previous lunchtime supervisor experience
• A good standard of communication skills
• Professionalism and reliability
• Previous experience working with primary children
