Job summary

Smile Education are currently recruiting for a Lunchtime Supervisor to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Kidderminster area.

This role is ideal for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with children and wants to help create a safe, fun and calm lunchtime environment in the dining hall and on the playground. You will supervise pupils, support positive behaviour and liaise with teachers as required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school, nursery or childcare setting.
• Experience supervising lunchtime, breaktime or activities.
• Ability to manage behaviour and ensure safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervising pupils during lunchtime and play.
• Supporting children in the dining hall.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and good manners.
• Ensuring pupils follow school rules and safety procedures.
• Responding appropriately to minor incidents.
• Supporting children to have a positive lunchtime experience.
• Liaising with teachers and school staff when required.

The successful applicant will supervise pupils during lunchtime, support positive behaviour and ensure children are safe and happy both in the dining area and on the playground.
