We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team as a Lunchtime Supervisor.
By creating a structured, nurturing, and inclusive environment within a secondary special educational needs (SEN) school, Lunchtime Supervisors play a vital role in supporting students with a wide range of additional needs. They help students navigate social interactions, develop independence and essential life skills, and enjoy their free time safely and positively. Their duties include facilitating inclusive play and social activities, promoting positive behaviour, supporting communication and emotional regulation, and providing reassurance and encouragement to students who may find the unstructured nature of break and lunchtime periods challenging.
We are looking for individuals who are able to support our students, either individually or in groups over the lunchtime period. We want staff that are able to set up and co-ordinate play activities, supervise young people in designated areas across the school and contribute to their health, safety and wellbeing.
We welcome applicants that are confidently able to establish and maintain relationships with individuals or groups and promote their social and emotional development.
