Job summary

Woolmer Hill School in England is seeking an enthusiastic lunchtime supervisor to support pupils during midday break. You will help supervise the dining hall, promote good manners and a calm atmosphere, and assist with setting up or clearing away equipment.

You will monitor play on the playground and other areas, encourage positive interaction, resolve minor conflicts, and reinforce safeguarding policies as part of a dedicated school team.

Qualifications

• Have experience working with children in a similar role.
• Understand safeguarding, inclusion and wellbeing in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils in the dining hall, encouraging positive behaviour and a calm atmosphere.
• Monitor and support pupils on the playground and in other indoor or outdoor areas during lunchtime.
• Encourage positive play and help children join in games and resolve minor conflicts.
• Set up or clear away equipment to support lunchtime routines.
