Job summary

Bright Star Talent Limited is seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor to support pupils during lunch, supervise outdoor play, and ensure a safe, positive environment. You’ll handle lunchtime incidents, encourage good behaviour, and report concerns to staff while working closely with teaching teams.

The role suits friendly, patient individuals who can manage groups, communicate well, and be reliable and punctual. DBS check is required, and right to work in the UK is essential.

Job description

As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will help supervise pupils during their lunch break and make sure they are safe and well supported.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising pupils during lunchtime and outdoor play
• Helping to maintain a safe and positive environment
• Supporting children with any issues that may arise during lunchtime
• Encouraging good behaviour and positive interactions between pupils
• Keeping an eye on pupils in the playground, dining area and other designated areas
• Dealing calmly and appropriately with minor incidents
• Reporting any concerns to the appropriate member of staff
• Helping pupils follow the school's behaviour and safety expectations
• Supporting the school staff team where required
