Job summary

Walsgrave Church of England Academy in Coventry is seeking a reliable Midday Supervisor to support pupils in the dining hall and supervise playtime. The role is permanent and 10 hours per week during term time, with pro rata pay.

You will assist with lunch routines, supervise activities indoors when needed, and help maintain a safe, orderly environment. Experience with children and safeguarding awareness are required, and DBS checks will be completed.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and ability to build positive relationships.
• Willingness to undertake safeguarding and child protection training.
• Ability to work reliably in a school dining hall and playground environment.

Responsibilities

• Support children in the dining hall with opening lunch boxes and food prep.
• Supervise children in the hall and playground, oversee games and activities.
• Help maintain a safe environment and assist with behavior management.
