Job summary

We Manage Jobs (WMJobs) is seeking an enthusiastic lunchtime supervisor to join a school in Worcester for September 2026. This term-time only role runs 11:45am–1:45pm, Monday to Friday, on a permanent contract.

You will supervise children in the dining hall and at play, support safeguarding, and promote welfare in line with school policy. An enhanced DBS check will be carried out as part of pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Term-time only role with a daily schedule from 11:45am to 1:45pm, Monday to Friday.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children.
• The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974; pre-employment checks will be carried out, references will be sought and verified, and candidates will undergo online checks and an enhanced DBS check with statutory checks where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Attend to lunchtime supervision, supporting children in the hall as they eat.
• Encourage and monitor play among groups of children at playtime.
• Supervise children in classrooms during adverse weather.
• Support safeguarding and promote the welfare of children in line with school policy.
