Job summary

St. Peter's CE Primary Academy is seeking a committed Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our team. The role is 4.5 hours per week, Monday, Thursday and Friday lunchtimes 11:30am–1:00pm, term time only. You will safeguard children, clear up after lunch, distribute meals and promote safe, positive play during breaks.

The post emphasises teamwork, effective communication and following school health and safety policies to support our pupils in a caring school community.

Qualifications

• Ability to build a rapport with children and contribute to a positive lunchtime environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a school team.
• Clear communication skills with children, colleagues and parents as appropriate.
• Support children's play while ensuring safety and adhering to behaviour guidelines.
• Demonstrate good food hygiene practices and follow school safety policies.

Responsibilities
