Job summary

Adecco is recruiting a Midday Assistant for a school in Stockport. Hours are Monday to Friday 11.45am - 1.15pm (1.5 hours daily) during term time. A DBS check is required for this role, with a view to permanent employment after a successful probation.

The role involves supervising lunchtime activities, helping children with meals, and maintaining a safe, tidy environment. The position is based on-site at a school in Stockport, with duties including outdoor play supervision and safeguarding

Qualifications

• Some experience working with children.
• Physically fit to play outdoors and move tables.
• A desire to work with children.
• Friendly and approachable.

Responsibilities

• Working with children helping them with lunchtime.
• Helping with eating, opening snacks etc.
• Helping move tables for lunchtime and cleaning up after lunch.
• Outdoor play with children.
• Supervising Children outside.
• Adhering to safeguarding rules and regulations.
