Job summary

Adecco is recruiting a Midday Assistant for a school in Stockport. Hours are Monday to Friday 11.45am - 1.15pm (1.5 hours daily) during term time. A DBS check is required for this role, with a view to permanent employment after a successful probation.

The role involves supervising lunchtime activities, helping children with meals, and maintaining a safe, tidy environment. The position is based on-site at a school in Stockport, with duties including outdoor play supervision and safeguarding

Midday Assistant required for School in Stockport

Hours are Monday to Friday 11.45am - 1.15pm (1.5 hours per day) Term Time.

£13.15 per hour

PLEASE NOT YOU MUST HAVE AN ENHANCED DBS for this role

Key Duties

• Working with children helping them with lunchtime


• Helping with eating, opening snacks etc


• Helping move tables for lunchtime and cleaning up after lunch


• Outdoor play with children


• Supervising Children outside


• adhering to safeguarding rules and regulations

Experience Required

• Some experience working with children whether that be professionally, for a family member or your own children.


• Physically fit as will be playing outdoors with the children and moving tables around.


• A desire to work with children.


• Friendly and approachable.


• Role is temporary to permanent and working within a friendly and well established professional nursery setting.
