Job summary

Cheadle Hulme Primary School in Stockport is looking for a caring Midday Assistant to supervise pupils at lunchtimes, promoting safe, enjoyable play and positive behaviour. You’ll work in the dining hall and outdoor areas, supporting colleagues to ensure wellbeing and happiness during the lunch period.

This term-time role is 7.5 hours per week and excludes holidays unless required by the contract; prior school experience and GCSEs in Maths and English are preferred to help create a welcoming

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent.
• Experience working in a school environment is advantageous.
• Term-time working availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunch in dining hall and playground.
• Promote positive behaviour and safety during lunchtimes.
• Support play activities and help maintain a welcoming environment for all children.
