Job summary

St Barnabas CofE Primary School in Bristol is seeking a dedicated Lunchbreak Supervisor to ensure the safety and wellbeing of pupils during the lunch period. The role covers lunchtime supervision from 12:00 to 13:15, Monday to Friday, during term time only, and is dependent on EHCP funding for a temporary contract.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, capable of using initiative, and able to work well in a team with excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Be enthusiastic and capable of using initiative.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Maintain warmth and care for children's safety and wellbeing.
• Fluency in spoken English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunchtime to ensure safety and positive behaviour.
• Maintain a calm, caring approach and manage lunchtime dynamics.
• Support outdoor play in all weather and liaise between pupils and staff.
• Commit to training and professional development and uphold confidentiality.
