Job summary

Heathfield Primary School is recruiting a Lunchtime Supervisor to support pupils during lunch breaks across dining hall and playground. The role is term-time only, with a 9.5-hour week and Monday–Friday schedule under the Prince Albert Community Trust (PACT).

The successful candidate will be caring, proactive and able to work as part of our pastoral team, ensuring a safe, happy lunchtime experience and positive behaviour in line with school policies.

Qualifications

• Warm and approachable manner.
• Good literacy and communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunch breaks in the dining hall, playground, and other areas.
• Encourage positive play and social interaction.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
• Promote good behaviour and follow school policies.
• Assist with setting up and clearing the dining area as needed.
