Job summary

Summerfield Primary School in Birmingham invites applications for a Lunchtime Supervisor. This permanent role is 7.5 hours per week, term time only, with a Grade 2 scale point 3–8. Start date to be agreed. The successful candidate will contribute to a safe, happy and engaging lunchtime provision for pupils.

You will lead activities, set up and clear away equipment, supervise play, support table manners and help resolve conflicts. DBS checks are required and safeguarding is a priority.

Qualifications

• DBS checks will be required.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children and young people.
• Ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and boundaries with children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities, including setting up and clearing away equipment.
• Support children in their table manners.
• Supervise children at play and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Work as part of the Summerfield Primary School team.
• Safeguard children and young people.
