Job summary

Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill is seeking a friendly Luggage Porter to welcome guests and assist with their luggage and general needs. The role offers flexi hours and opportunities to interact with guests in a premier Marylebone hotel.

Ideal candidates will be customer-focused with good communication skills and a willingness to work weekends/holidays. Full training will be provided to support a high standard of guest service.

• Friendly, professional and customer-focused individual.
• Previous guest-facing hospitality experience is advantageous, though full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide a professional first impression of the hotel.
• Assist guests with their luggage during arrival, departure and throughout their stay.
• Provide information on hotel facilities, services and local attractions.
• Arrange transportation and taxi bookings when required.
• Support guests with parking arrangements and directions.
• Ensure the entrance, driveway and surrounding areas are clean and presentable at all times.
• Open doors and assist guests entering and leaving the hotel.
• Work closely with the Front Office team to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Duties and responsibilities related to the Luggage Porter- Flexi Hours role

Welcome guests warmly and provide a professional first impression of the hotel.

Assist guests with their luggage during arrival, departure, and throughout their stay.

Provide information on hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.

Arrange transportation and assist guests with taxi bookings when required.

Support guests with parking arrangements and directions.

Ensure the hotel entrance, driveway, and surrounding areas are clean, tidy, and presentable at all times .

Open doors and provide assistance to guests entering and leaving the hotel.

Work closely with the Front Office team to ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience.

About you

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Luggage Porter. Previous experience in a guest-facing hospitality role is advantageous, although full training will be provided.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment fordelivering exceptional guest service. A good knowledge of the local area and the ability to work flexibly, including weekends and holidays, would be beneficial.
