Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch is seeking a Luggage Porter to join the pre‑opening team for the hotel’s launch later this year. We are looking for hospitality professionals who are passionate about delivering an exceptional five‑star guest experience while consistently upholding world‑class service standards recognised by Forbes.

About the Hotel

The hotel, located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sq. ft. of private residences. It will open with two signature restaurants – Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud – and will offer a world‑class spa, state‑of‑the‑art fitness facilities, and a range of event spaces, including a ballroom with a capacity of 320 guests.

Responsibilities

• Welcome arriving guests with polished professionalism, safely receive vehicles, and assure secure handling.
• Provide seamless laundry support – washing, folding, and storage with precision.
• Maintain a welcoming lobby and entrance presence, offering courteous and anticipatory service.
• Deliver prompt, efficient, personalised service to individual guests and group arrivals.
• Communicate relevant guest feedback or operational matters to Head Porter or Concierge Supervisor.
• Ensure timely delivery of messages, correspondence, and internal communications.
• Assist with room moves, luggage deliveries, and front‑door operations in compliance with SOPs.
• Oversee secure handling, storage, and retrieval of short‑term and long‑term luggage.
• Maintain public areas and equipment in immaculate condition.
• Liaise with Security regarding unattended or suspicious luggage.
• Greet all guests warmly in public areas and guest rooms, demonstrating polished professionalism.
