Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking an LTIS Technical Engineer to support the Land Training Information System Future Classroom programme. This hands-on role covers hardware, software, networking and bespoke client systems in a secure environment, delivering deployments and end-user training support on-site in the UK.

The role requires UK residency clearance, strong IT support background and customer-facing skills to meet strict MoD guidelines and SLAs.

Qualifications

At least 3 years' IT support experience.
Experience in military environments is preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Good knowledge of network design and topology.
ITIL incident management experience and working to SLAs.
Hands-on delivery of technology solutions on-site under pressure.

Responsibilities

Deliver hardware, software and infrastructure deployments, from configuration changes to new-site installations.
Provide on-site implementation and technical support for end-user training systems.
Diagnose and resolve issues across hardware, networks, operating systems and peripherals.
Develop installation and escalation plans to support project delivery.
Communicate technical solutions clearly to customers and colleagues at different levels.
