Job summary

Leidos UK is seeking an Infrastructure & Logistics Engineer to join the Mission-Critical Systems team. The role involves building, maintaining and improving infrastructure environments for safety-critical operations, with onsite and remote support across UK sites.

The role requires SC clearance and involves Linux, virtualization, hardware/networking troubleshooting, system deployments and documentation. It offers hybrid working with 4 days onsite and 1 day WFH.

Qualifications

Experience in infrastructure engineering, systems integration, or technical support.
Experience with infrastructure environments and labs.
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and document outcomes.

Responsibilities

Supporting and enhancing infrastructure, laboratory and integration environments.
Installing, configuring and maintaining Linux, server and virtualised platforms.
Investigating and resolving hardware, software and networking issues.
Supporting system deployments, upgrades and customer installations.
Managing backups, system builds and asset lifecycle activities.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver project outcomes.
Producing technical documentation, reports and status updates.
Contributing to integration, verification and testing activities.
Identifying opportunities to improve processes and system performance.
