Job summary

Flogas is looking for an Engineer to install and maintain LPG equipment at customer premises and LPG sites across the country. You will learn at a dedicated training centre and work under the supervision of an experienced LPG engineer to ensure safety and high standards.

Day-to-day duties include installation of vessels, pipework, testing and commissioning, with some heavy lifting. A UK driving licence and ACS certification are essential, along with CSCS.

Qualifications

  • Hold a current UK category B driving licence (light vehicle up to 3.5 tonne).
  • Full ACS Certification including Regulators, Meters and Vessels is required.
  • Current CSCS card is required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspection work at customer premises and LPG sites.
  • Carry out on-site installations of LPG vessels, pipework and auxiliary equipment.
  • Complete testing, purging and commissioning of equipment and issue certification.
  • Some heavy manual handling; follow installation drawings and plans.

How you’ll power our business as an Engineer

Reporting to the Consumer Engineering Manager – Metered Estates through our trusted Lead Technician,you'llplay a vital role in bringing LPG to life at our customers' homes and businesses. From installing andmaintainingLPG equipment to making sure everything runs like clockwork,you’llbe the friendly face customers rely on.

You'llstart your journey side-by-side with one of our experienced LPG engineers, learning the ropes on the job and sharpening your skills at a dedicated LPG training centre. Day-to-day,you’llcarry out routine maintenance, inspect equipment, and install everything from LPG vessels to pipework and accessories.You’llalso handle testing, purging, commissioning, and certifying – making sure each job is done safely and to the highest standard.It’shands-on work, with some lifting involved (don’tworry,we’lltrain you), andyou’llneed to be confident reading installation plans and drawings.

Here’s what you’ll be doing

Conduct routine maintenance and inspection work at Flogas customers premises & Flogas LPG sites

Carry out on site installations of LPG Vessels, pipework, and auxiliary equipment at customer sites

Complete all required testing, purging and commissioning of equipment & issuing of certification

Some heavy manual handling required (training will be provided)

Ability to follow installation drawings and plans

Whatwe’llneed from you

Hold a current UK category B driving licence (light vehicle up to 3.5 tonne)

Ability to meet agreed deadlines and work overtime asrequired

Willing to routinely work away from home Mon-Fri

Good verbal and written communication & influencing skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team

Self-motivated

Full ACS Certification including Regulators,Metersand Vessels

Current CSCS card
