Job summary

Flogas is seeking a Fulfilment Technician to learn telemetry installations and repairs, carry out site surveys and assist Gas Technicians in installations. You’ll train at the academy and may travel for overnight or nights away from home as part of the programme.

You will interact with residential and commercial customers on-site, manage stock, and complete paperwork accurately. The role includes occasional travel and working Mon–Thu when needed.

Qualifications

  • Driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Comfortable using a variety of hand tools and smaller power tools.
  • Accurate in completing fieldwork, paperwork, and stock control processes.
  • Good communication skills to represent Flogas on customer sites.
  • Calm and polite demeanour when dealing with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Learn LGUK Codes of Practice reference siting of gas vessels.
  • Undergo training at our training academy, including occasional nights away from home.
  • Interact with Domestic and Commercial customers on site with clear communication.
  • Carry out non-gas related repairs on customers’ sites and complete paperwork accurately.
  • Control stock of telemetry units and follow associated processes.
  • Be willing to spend time away from home to support defect resolution (rare, Mon–Thu).

How you’ll power our business as a Fulfilment Technician

As a Fulfilment Technician, you will be trained to carry out telemetry installations & repairs, statutory maintenance, repairs, fault diagnosis, site surveys and occasionally assist the Gas Technicians to install & maintain bulk LPG vessels. Here at Flogas, we may have a fossil fuels background, but we’re working towards delivering 100% renewable energy to our customers by 2040. We’re already supporting our customers to reduce their carbon emissions, by helping them make the switch from oil to gas. We’re also developing our offering for technologies such as heat pumps and solar panels, beginning to help our customers reduce their energy consumption and evolving new bio-fuels and renewable gases. Here what you'll be doing
  • To learn LGUK Codes of Practice reference siting of gas vessels.

  • Have good communications skills as you could interact with both Domestic and Commercial customers when on their sites.
  • To carry out repairs (non-gas related) on customers’ sites and complete paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
  • To control stock of telemetry units and follow associated processes.
  • Willing to spend time away from home to support resolution of defects in other areas (this will only happen on a few occasions over the year and be restricted to Monday to Thursday.
What we’ll need from you

  • Accuracy, both in terms of work completed in the field, paperwork submitted and stock control processes (using tablet or laptop).
  • Good communication skills – you will be representing Flogas on customer sites
