Job summary

Redkite Engineering Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Manager to oversee Low Voltage Control & Automation Products across Southern England and Southern Wales. The role includes driving new business, building relationships with stakeholders, and managing your own schedule with 4 days in the field and 1 day for admin tasks.

Candidates should have a proven sales background in related products, excellent communication skills, and a strong technical foundation in electrical engineering. This position offers a competitive salary with uncapped commission, a company EV car, and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in Low Voltage Control Gear and Automation.
• Strong technical knowledge of control gear and industrial applications.
• Excellent presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Driving new business and expanding product penetration.
• Building relationships from shop floor to Director level.
• Preparing accurate quotations and maintaining records in CRM.

Skills

Sales experience in Low Voltage Control Gear

Excellent communication skills

IT proficiency (MS Office 365, CRM systems)

Technical knowledge of automation components

Education

Electrical engineering background
