Lounge Host

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Waiter/Waitress to work in Heathrow Airport in a VIP lounge. If you have experience working in lounges or busy restaurants, we would like to hear from you!

Position:

Waiter/Waitress

Location:

London Heathrow Airport

Pay rate:

£13.50 p/h - £14.00

Hours:

Early Starts from 04:00 AM and Late Finishes until 22:00 PM

Responsibilities:

1. Meet and greet passengers to create a great first impression; must have an engaging personality.
2. Understand lounge procedures and policies; upsell lounge services where appropriate.
3. Familiarity with lounge menu; advise guests on dietaries and allergies.
4. Set up food and lounge areas; clear stations; stock food and beverages.
5. Prepare and serve beverages efficiently to avoid queues.
6. Maintain excellent communication to resolve guest queries effectively.

Benefits:

• Pay rate of £13.50 p/h.
• Full-time hours between 37.5 and 40 hours per week.
• Company uniform and ongoing training with opportunities for progression.
• Criminal Record Check (DBS) reimbursed after 4 weeks.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar environment or a hospitality background.
• Excellent knowledge of Food and Beverages and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn lounge service procedures and menus quickly.
• Organized, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent command of English; multilingual skills are a plus.
• Flexibility to work early mornings as early as 04:00 AM and late shifts until 22:00 PM; ability to commute to Heathrow.

All candidates will be subject to a 5-year background check and must have a clear police record (DBS). Candidates with experience as Host, Hostess, Food Runner, Waiter, Waitress, Food or Beverage Assistant, or Bar Staff are highly desirable.
