About the role

As a Loss Prevention Partner (LPP) in our Profit Protection team, you'll contribute to the efficiency and profitability of the shop where you are based. Your responsibilities include investigating trends, reporting on key themes related to shrinkage to protect profits, patrolling the shop floor to deter theft, and monitoring CCTV for suspicious behaviour.

Note: You must be 18 or older to work in this role. You will work on a rota basis, including evenings and weekends, with various shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Be a point of contact for branch Profit Protection issues, escalating as needed.
• Mitigate risks of harm to Partners and Customers.
• Manage shrinkage performance within set budgets and risk levels.
• Address all aspects of shrinkage: dishonesty, procedural failures, and errors.
• Support and coach Partners on shrinkage minimisation and procedural compliance.
• De-escalate conflicts professionally; may involve detaining or banning offenders.
• Assist with investigations as required.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence in resolving conflicts.
• Strong attention to detail, able to identify trends and signs of profit loss.
• Good customer service and relationship-building skills.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Previous loss prevention or customer-facing experience is advantageous but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours) across seven days, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
