About the role

As a Loss Prevention Partner (LPP) in our Profit Protection team, you'll contribute to the efficiency and profitability of the shop where you are based. Your responsibilities include investigating trends, reporting on key themes related to shrinkage, and protecting our profits. You will patrol the shop floor to deter theft, monitor CCTV for suspicious behaviour, and support your colleagues and customers.

Note: You must be 18 or older to work in this role. The role requires working on a rota, including evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the point of contact for profit protection issues, escalating as needed.
• Mitigate risks of harm to Partners and Customers.
• Manage shrinkage performance within budget and risk appetite.
• Address all aspects of shrinkage, including dishonesty, procedural failures, and errors.
• Support and coach Partners on shrinkage minimisation and procedure compliance.
• De-escalate conflicts professionally; may involve detaining or banning offenders.
• Assist with investigations when required.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence in resolving conflicts.
• Attention to detail, with the ability to spot trends and signs of profit loss.
• Good customer service and relationship-building skills.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Previous loss prevention or customer-facing experience is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided.

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours), including early mornings, late finishes, evenings, and weekends.
