About the role

As a Loss Prevention Partner (LPP) in our Profit Protection team, you'll contribute to the efficiency and profitability of your shop and be an essential team member. You will investigate trends, report on key themes related to shrinkage to safeguard our profits, patrol the shop floor to deter theft, and monitor CCTV for suspicious activity.

Note: You must be 18 or older to work in this role. The position involves working on a rota, including evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for profit protection issues, escalating when necessary.
• Mitigate risks of harm to Partners and Customers.
• Manage shrinkage performance within set budgets and risk levels.
• Address all aspects of shrinkage, including dishonesty, procedural failures, and errors.
• Support and coach Partners to minimize shrinkage and follow procedures.
• De-escalate conflicts professionally, including detaining or banning offenders when needed.
• Assist with investigations as required.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence in resolving conflicts.
• Strong attention to detail to identify trends and signs of loss.
• Good customer service and relationship-building skills.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Experience in loss prevention or customer-facing roles is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided.

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, across seven days.
