About the role

As a Loss Prevention Partner (LPP) in our Profit Protection team, you'll add value to the efficiency and profitability of the shop where you're based and be an integral part of the team. You'll investigate trends and report on key themes regarding shrinkage to protect our profits. You'll also patrol the shop floor to deter potential theft and monitor CCTV for signs of suspicious behaviour.

Due to the nature of the role, you must be 18 years or older. You will work on a rota basis, including evenings and weekends, with various shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Be a point of contact for branch Profit Protection issues and escalate as required.
• Mitigate risks of malicious harm to Partners and Customers.
• Manage shrinkage performance within budget and risk appetite.
• Address all aspects of shrinkage, including dishonesty, procedural failure, and administrative error.
• Support and coach Partners on minimizing shrinkage and following procedures.
• De-escalate conflicts professionally and, if necessary, detain or ban offenders.
• Assist with investigations when needed.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence in resolving conflicts.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify trends and signs of profit loss.
• Good customer service and relationship-building skills.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Previous loss prevention or customer-facing experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
