Job summary

Northeastern University London is hiring a Residence Life Manager to lead day‑to‑day residential life for ~1000 students across partnered halls in London. You will line‑manage two live‑in Community Supervisors and oversee a broader team to support safety, wellbeing, and student success.

The role requires a degree (Masters preferred), 3–4 years in Residence Life or related fields, and the ability to work a hybrid schedule with occasional evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree in higher education, social work, or relevant field preferred.
• 3–4 years within Residence Life or aligned student support and/or Higher Education areas.
• Experience supervising teams and managing crises, risk, and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of live‑in Community Supervisors and their teams.
• Lead initiatives to improve residence life experience and student wellbeing.
• Participate in on‑call rotation for after‑hour emergencies and risk management.
• Foster relationships with third‑party accommodation providers and ensure service standards.
• Collaborate across Global Network Sites and support administrative tasks for Residence Services.
