Job summary

Finsight Group Inc (FINSIGHT) seeks an Information Technology Support Specialist in London to own local IT operations and serve as the London InfoSec champion, while delivering high-touch client service for VDR & Market Data products.

The role involves configuring Mac and Windows devices, managing asset inventory, onboarding new starters, and collaborating with global IT and InfoSec teams to keep the London office secure and compliant.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience configuring, managing and supporting macOS and Windows devices.
• Experience with IT asset management and hardware procurement including asset registers.
• Proficiency in researching information using online techniques.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly with clients.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of London IT hardware from procurement to decommissioning.
• Ensure Day 1 readiness for new London-based associates, including setup of Macs and Windows laptops, docks, monitors, and peripherals.
• Manage UK-based electronics vendors to ensure global hardware standards and cost-efficiency.
• Act as the primary London contact for global InfoSec policies and ensure security compliance.
• Manage access fobs, visitor logs, and perform regular access audits.
• Partner with NYC InfoSec to meet UK/EU privacy requirements.
• Provide high-touch support for VDR and Market Data products via phone, email, and chat.
• Liaise between clients and internal engineering to troubleshoot and escalate issues.
