Job summary

OpenAI is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to lead end-to-end deployments of frontier models for strategic customers in London. You will own discovery, scoping, system design, build, and production rollout while partnering with customer engineering and domain teams.

You will measure success via production adoption and impact on workflows, working closely with Product, Research, and Security to inform roadmaps. Travel up to 50% and relocation assistance are available.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of engineering or deployment experience, including customer-facing work.
• Fluency in Spanish and English is required for multilingual customers.
• Experience scoping and delivering complex systems in fast-moving environments.
• Production-grade code in Python, JavaScript, or comparable stacks.
• Experience with systems powered by LLMs or generative models.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployments of frontier models for key customers.
• Own discovery, scoping, design, build, and production rollout.
• Collaborate with product, research, security, and customer teams.
• Deliver measurable production adoption and impact.
• Contribute code and codify patterns for reuse.
