Job summary

BGIS is seeking a Shift Lead / Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations of a mechanical and electrical (M&E) environment at a City of London site. You will ensure routine PPM tasks, react promptly to issues and coordinate with sub-contractors, maintaining safety and compliance.

Working hours are 6am–6pm on a continental shift pattern; knowledge of Maximo and LOTO procedures is essential to keep plant running and records up to date.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising maintenance teams and coordinating shift operations.
• Knowledge of PPM and reactive maintenance in facilities.
• Understanding of safety procedures and LOTO requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee routine PPM on M&E plant per site schedules.
• Coordinate reactive tasks and liaise with subcontractors.
• Manage spare parts lists and timescales for remedial works.
• Ensure Permit to Work is followed and records updated.
• Maintain and review Shift Reports and KPI/SLA adherence.
• Ensure safe working environment and professional company image.
