Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a proactive Shift Leader for the City of London site. You will manage shift cover, supervision of M&E technicians and the out-of-hours team, and act as the main contact for service delivery.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience with shift teams in maintenance or facilities
• Strong people management and communication skills
• Knowledge of health and safety processes and compliance

Responsibilities

• Manage holiday, sickness cover and HR issues including appraisals
• Ensure training plans are in place and implemented
• Maintain professional image of CBRE GWS team at all times
• Supervise M&E shift team and senior technical rep out of hours
• Act as point of contact for technical service delivery
• Plan workload on shift to complete PPM/CM and reactive work orders within SLA
• Ensure effective shift handover via logs, email and status board
• Coordinate with other service providers for integrated service delivery
• Act as Authorised Person for control of work for CBRE GWS and contractors
• Manage Permit to Work System and electrical switching within change control
• Lead shift training using scenarios and site drawings
• Ensure adherence to health and safety processes for staff and subcontractors
• Carry out toolbox talks and workplace assessments as required
• Follow CBRE GWS processes including financial approvals
• Monitor budgetary control for parts, tools, training, PPE
• Provide weekly workload reports via Real Suite and monthly status to TSM
