Jones Engineering is seeking a Planning Lead based in London, UK, to manage planning activities and progress reporting for a large value Datacentre project. You will oversee work sequencing, durations, and logic while producing periodic progress reports with KPI metrics and EV progress.

You will interface with the in-house Jones team and external project parties to develop a coordinated, deliverable schedule.

Qualifications

• Supports PMT in development and execution of project programmes
• Leads and mentors planning team members on projects
• Willingness to visit projects regularly across sites
• Knowledge of forensic planning and delay claim analysis
• Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
• Holds a relevant 3rd level qualification
• Minimum of 6 years post-qualification experience (M&E preferred)
• Experience with Primavera P6 software is required (min 5 years)
• Ability to interrogate & challenge client programmes when needed

Responsabilités

• Lead the planning team in developing detailed EPC construction schedules for baseline agreement with client
• Perform schedule health checks prior to baselining for accuracy and critical path validation
• Produce fully resource loaded schedules and track KPI’s
• Ensure timely updating of construction schedule and progress
• Track planned vs actual EV progress
• Coordinate with Jones team and external parties to log issues via change control
• Attend site meetings as required
• Monitor budgets for scope changes and original vs actuals
• Maintain in-house project control database and progress tracking
• Monitor fabrication and site installation progress
• Track productivity (spent vs earned hours) of craft labour
• Ensure delivery of weekly/monthly construction reports on time
• Produce reports for internal and external stakeholders
