Job summary

Jones Engineering is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager for a fast-track data centre project in London. The role covers the planning, coordination and day-to-day management of on-site logistics to ensure safe, efficient movement of personnel, materials, plant and equipment.

The successful candidate will work closely with CSA, Mechanical, Electrical and Commissioning teams, managing deliveries, 2–6 week look-ahead schedules and the coordination of major equipment movements to support

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing site logistics on large construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety requirements and risk mitigation.
• Experience coordinating major deliveries, lifting operations and plant movements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Site Logistics Plan and Traffic Management Plan.
• Oversee day-to-day site logistics operations and coordinate deliveries.
• Coordinate plant and equipment movements, craneage and vertical transportation.
• Monitor housekeeping, waste management and storage to support the programme.
• Ensure logistics activities align with CSA, MEP and commissioning schedules.
