Dow Jones is seeking a Business Operations Lead to join our London-based team. You will manage the Master Global Events Calendar, coordinate planning across functions, and drive efficiency through AI and automation.

The role collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Content Operations, Events, Finance, and more. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree with 4–6 years in strategy or operations, strong stakeholder and data skills, and a proactive approach to improving performance.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of relevant professional experience in strategy, business operations, project management, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills required.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, particularly Slides and Sheets.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to work in London-based office 3 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Own the management of the Dow Jones Master Global Events Calendar and support portfolio planning.
• Support the annual Events Strategic Planning process and its coordination.
• Coordinate Custom schedules, dependencies, and business priorities with calendar integration.
• Optimize and standardize operational processes and share best practices.
• Support competitive intelligence and market research, translating insights into recommendations.
• Use AI, automation and workflow tools to improve efficiency.
• Establish project governance frameworks with plans, timelines, trackers, milestones and approvals.
• Develop reporting processes to monitor operational performance and risks.
• Prepare executive presentations and reports for leadership meetings.
• Partner with leadership to build team engagement and culture initiatives.
