Job summary

National Audit Office is seeking an HR Systems and Business Analyst to strengthen HR data governance, analytics and digital processes in London. You will translate business needs into practical HRIS solutions, aligning with the NAO Strategy and AI strategy while ensuring high data quality and effective human oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in HR, Business Admin, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Relevant experience in HR analytics, business analysis, or related analytical role.
• Experience with business process mapping, analysis, and improvement.
• Understanding of the employee lifecycle and HR functions.
• Proven track record of data analysis and creating visualisations and reports.
• Experience working with HRIS platforms and knowledge of key vendors.

Responsibilities

• Consult with HR business partners to understand needs and translate into requirements.
• Map and analyse current-state HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
• Identify process inefficiencies and gaps through data analysis.
• Identify high value use cases and co-create action plans.
• Design and implement future-state HR processes aligned with goals.
• Develop workflow diagrams and documentation to embed processes.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance and HR to align processes across systems.
