Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer for London to lead end-to-end deployments of frontier models in production. You will own discovery, scoping, system design, build, and rollout, partnering with customer engineering and domain teams.

You will work across product, research, partnerships, and security teams to measure adoption and impact, and to inform model and product roadmaps. The role is based in London with a hybrid model (3 days in the office) and relocation assistance, with

Qualifications

• 6+ years engineering or technical deployment experience, including customer-facing work.
• Fluency in Spanish and English required to support Spanish-speaking customers.
• Experience delivering complex systems in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Own technical delivery across deployments from prototype to production.
• Build full-stack systems delivering customer value and learning.
• Embed with customer teams, gather needs, and drive adoption of your work.
• Scope work, sequence delivery, and remove blockers early.
• Contribute code when needed and share field feedback to influence product roadmaps.
