Blush & Bloom Talent Ltd in London is partnering with a global beauty solutions business to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager who will drive new customer acquisition across primary and secondary packaging.

This is a highly proactive, new-business-focused role requiring knowledge of the beauty packaging market and the ability to convert prospects into long-term partnerships. You will work with cross-functional teams to tailor packaging solutions for brands.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in sales, account management or business development.
• Strong experience in primary or secondary packaging for beauty/personal care.
• Track record of winning new customers and hitting targets.
• Proactive and resilient, able to open doors from scratch.
• Excellent networking, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Able to translate customer needs into commercially viable packaging solutions.
• Confident presenting pitches and proposals; good data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Build a strong pipeline of beauty packaging prospects.
• Open new conversations and convert prospects to partnerships.
• Lead the full BD process from outreach to proposal and handover.
• Explore product plans to identify value opportunities.
• Collaborate with design, sourcing and manufacturing to tailor responses.
• Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations on solutions and benefits.
• Develop a network across the beauty packaging market and attend events.
• Monitor brand activity and competition to uncover opportunities.
• Review pitches and proposals to improve future approaches.
