Job summary

Vega is hiring a Product Manager, Agents in London to drive AI-first product initiatives. The role involves collaborating with engineering to define technical concepts, prototyping rather than writing specs, and delivering agent-focused features with real users.

You will work to optimize reliability, latency and cost while maintaining clear governance of autonomous actions. We look for pragmatic product leaders with 2+ years in product, hands-on prompt engineering, and a track record shipping

Qualifications

• 2+ years of product experience, ideally where being wrong is expensive.
• Hands-on prompting, context engineering and evals—done by you, not delegated.
• Shipped LLM or agent features to real users and can speak to what broke.
• Technical fluency to discuss retrieval and tool design with engineers; judge when AI is not the answer.
• Experience with GPs/LPs or knowledge of Fund administration, KYC/AML or LP portals is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and partner with engineering teams on technical concepts to deliver AI-first solutions.
• Own an agentic surface end-to-end and decide what runs unattended and what needs human input.
• Keep autonomous actions explainable and reversible; manage tradeoffs on reliability, latency and cost.
• Work with GP and LP operations to identify and remove manual work without breaking controls.
• Operate with urgency in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment requiring strong communication and problem-solving.
