Job summary

Shearwater Marine Services Limited is seeking a detail-driven LOLER Compliance Administrator to manage day-to-day LOLER record keeping and scheduling of examinations. You will ensure accuracy of certificates, inspection reports, and action tracking, supporting health, safety and legal compliance across lifting equipment.

The role requires experience in compliance/administration, a solid understanding of LOLER, and strong organisational and communication skills to coordinate with inspectors,

Qualifications

• Experience in compliance, administration, health and safety or a similar environment.
• Understanding of LOLER requirements and lifting equipment compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Experience maintaining databases, registers or compliance records.
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the LOLER lifting equipment register.
• Coordinate and schedule LOLER examinations and inspections.
• Monitor examination dates and arrange re-certification before expiry.
• Maintain accurate records of LOLER certificates and inspection reports.
• Review inspection reports and record defects, recommendations or remedial actions.
• Support audits by providing LOLER documentation and records.
