Job summary
Cameron Clarke Associates is seeking an Assistant Depot Manager in Reading to support daily depot operations, supervise warehouse staff and help optimise logistics, transportation and supply chain processes in a fast-paced environment.
The role requires proven supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics setting, strong knowledge of TMS, WMS and ERP systems, and a sharp focus on safety and accuracy. The position offers £17.00 per hour plus benefits.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in logistics or warehouse.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and warehouse operations.
- Hands-on experience with TMS, WMS and ERP systems.
- Experience using AS400 platforms.
- Excellent organisational skills with a focus on safety and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Depot Manager with daily warehouse operations.
- Supervise warehouse staff and monitor safety and productivity.
- Coordinate TMS to optimise delivery schedules.
- Support process improvements to cut costs and boost service levels.
- Utilise WMS and ERP to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Oversee forklift operations and training compliance.
