Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in Logistics.
• Experience in transport planning in a busy transport office is essential.
• A CPC qualification would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Excel competence would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritise workloads and schedule to meet deadlines.
• Match customer orders and requirements to available resources.
• Prepare schedules, perform order entry and update in-house systems.
• Communicate regularly with drivers, internal departments and Sub Contractors.
• Manage vehicle maintenance/repairs and liaise with relevant contacts.
