Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a highly organised Transport Planner to join our established Logistics team in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on coordinating daily schedules, liaising with internal teams and freight forwarders, and maintaining accurate shipping documentation to ensure on-time deliveries.

With at least 3 years in transport planning or logistics, you will navigate HGV regulations, use Transport Management Systems (Webfleet preferred), and proactively resolve issues to uphold

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in transport planning or logistics.
• Knowledge of HGV regulations and road transport legislation.
• Experience with transport management systems; Webfleet knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transport schedules for timely delivery and collection.
• Coordinate with internal departments to align loading and dispatch.
• Liaise with freight forwarders for shipping and haulage.
• Prepare and maintain transport documentation.
• Oversee loading, dispatch and delivery processes.
• Allocate vehicles, drivers, and routes to maximise service levels.
• Resolve transport-related issues promptly with customer service focus.
• Ensure compliance with policies and transport regulations.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers, and logistics partners.
• Support wider business operations as required.
• Promote high standards of customer and supplier care.
