Job summary

Northgate Vehicle Hire is seeking a Team Leader in Leeds to coordinate a team of Customer Delivery Agents, ensuring vehicles are delivered and collected on time. You will lead by example, setting expectations high while nurturing the team and maintaining a can-do attitude.

You’ll work in a fast-paced branch environment, supported by a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to develop your leadership skills within the Northgate network.

Qualifications

• Must have Full UK or EU Driving Licence (useful for logistics role)
• Experience coordinating teams in a fast-paced environment is valuable
• Strong customer service mindset and people management abilities

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a team of drivers to meet customers' needs
• Ensure vehicles are where they need to be when needed
• Allocate and utilise fleet efficiently at the site
• Provide leadership to create productive, engaged teams

Salary:£29,371 pa + bonus up to £2,202 pa OTE

Weekly Hours:42.5 hours - Includes Saturday working on rota

With your team of Customer Delivery Agents on board, it's over to you inspire the team and take ownership for the allocation and utilisation of the fleet at your site, getting the right vehicles to the right customers, just when they need it.

Being a successfulTeam Leaderin branch is really about using yourcustomer service know-how, talent formotivating othersand your calm,'can-do' attitudeto get your team pulling in the same direction. Whereas knowledge of vehicle rental or similar logistics environment may be useful (along with a Full UK or EU Driving Licence of course!), what is more important to us is the drive and personality you can bring to the role.
