Northgate Vehicle Hire in Aberdeen is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician for a busy workshop. This role offers fixed day shifts (42.5 hours/week) with no nights and overtime paid at time and a half. The salary is £50k OTE (£44k basic plus bonus and overtime).

You will work in a clean, modern workshop environment, supported by IMI-accredited training and clear progression routes into senior or specialist roles, with benefits including bonus schemes and vehicle-leasing options.

Northgate Vehicle Hire is one of the UK’s leading vehicle rental specialists, operating a modern in-house fleet of around 49,000 vans and 19,000 cars across the UK, Ireland and Spain. All work is carried out in our own workshops, giving you variety without the pressure of customer-facing jobs.

This role offers fixed day shift hours only, so no nights, no rotating patterns and a proper work-life balance. Overtime is available when required and is paid at time and a half, not flat rate.
