Job summary

Semper Services LTD is seeking a proactive Logistics & Support Manager to oversee resources, equipment, fleet, materials and support services that keep operations running smoothly.

You will work with the MD and Operations Director, take ownership of day-to-day logistics, asset management, supplier coordination and compliance, ensuring safety and cost control. This role rewards practical problem-solving, process improvements and the introduction of technology to drive efficiency and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in operational logistics, plant, fleet, depot management.
• Working knowledge of PUWER and LOLER.
• Strong organisational, planning and record-management skills.
• Experience managing suppliers, purchasing and costs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day depot, yard, stores and support activities.
• Manage materials ordering, stock control, deliveries and collections.
• Maintain registers for plant, tools, equipment and vehicles.
• Coordinate inspections and certifications (PUWER, LOLER, etc.).
• Oversee supplier quotations and purchasing decisions.
• Support AppCan and other approved systems adoption.
• Provide reporting on asset compliance and costs.
