Pure Resourcing Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead a busy function covering transport, warehousing, inventory and outsourced partners in Essex. This hands-on leadership role involves driving performance, reducing costs and implementing better controls across the operation.

You will manage relationships with hauliers and external suppliers, develop KPIs, monitor spend and push for continuous improvements in processes and safety.

Competenze

• Experience leading logistics or distribution operations.
• Strong knowledge of outsourced logistics and 3PL management.
• Track record of improving supplier performance and service levels.
• Experience managing logistics costs, budgets and supplier agreements.
• Evidence of delivering cost savings and operational efficiencies.
• Experience improving warehouse, transport or inventory processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use KPIs and data to drive decisions.

Mansioni

• Lead logistics activity across transport, warehousing, inventory and 3PL operations.
• Manage key relationships with hauliers, logistics providers and other external suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure agreed service and cost expectations are met.
• Take ownership of logistics spend, budgets and cost control.
• Identify and deliver opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce logistics costs.
• Review existing processes and introduce practical operational improvements.
• Lead logistics projects including supplier changes, transport improvements and warehouse initiatives.
• Develop meaningful KPIs and reporting to provide greater visibility of performance and spend.
• Strengthen stock control and inventory accuracy.
• Ensure appropriate health, safety and compliance standards are maintained.
• Resolve operational issues quickly while identifying root causes.
• Work closely with supply chain, production, customer service and commercial teams.
• Lead, support and develop those responsible for delivering logistics activities.
